MDC Data Centers continues to grow its ecosystem in Laredo, TX, with the arrival of LOGIX Fiber Networks
Laredo, TX, June 27, 2019 – MDC Data Center, the leading carrier-neutral data center provider on the US-Mexico border, announced today that LOGIX Fiber Networks will bring its 100Gbps IP Transport services to MDC’s facility in Laredo, TX – a market that is quickly becoming another gateway to Mexican networks.
Internet usage in Mexico is on a steady climb with the number of internet users projected to grow to about 91.6 million by 2021. This growing trend has incentivized network operators like LOGIX to invest more actively in their fiber infrastructure and deployments on the edge to provide Mexican carriers with the required connectivity to sustain such growth.
