McAllen, TX, January 25, 2018 – MDC Data Centers, the leading carrier-neutral colocation provider on the US-Mexico border, today announced the completion of its acquisition of one Verizon data center in the city of El Paso, Texas. The purpose-built data center, located at 11455 Cedar Oak Drive, totals more than 10,000 square feet of space and 800 kilowatts (kW) of critical, IT power with additional power available. The building also features a cell tower and connectivity to its former landlord, Verizon.
